Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Now I really want to see Dalek Spank Inferno.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wouldn't the spank be more of a clang?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm not sure if upon seeing it, I'd find the following very disturbing or ROTFL funny:

To cut to the chase - literally - here's how UK tabloid the Sun describes it: "Dr Who's foes capture three naked 'disco babes' in the 18-rated DVD. They chase the girls around their spaceship and grope them with their plungers."

I, uh, don't know who this McPherson guy is, but spoilerfix seems to trust him.

Stephen McPherson, President of ABC Primetime.

there isn't a new Alias until December 7th

Oh good. I was worried that I missed an ep.

Maybe if Invasion is tanking...

I think ABC is more likely to give their prime real estate to a show they already picked up for a full season than a show they now know is in its last season.

I'm going to go with ROTLF funny. You may also wish to be stoned. It strikes me as much better appreciated in an altered state of reality.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I was shown Trapped in the Closet: Parts 1-12 on DVD over the weekend, and now I'm subconsciously filking everything that's happening around me.

The box office hit of my office!

Are there cliffnotes for the new stuff yet?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And lo, today's migraine is here. Ah, well. They showed up for the conference call, and proceeded to not understand the point of the project we've been working on for six months.

This isn't why I write project charters, people. They're no use if no one reads them.

Damn, the highest ranked person characterised the exchange as hostile. I hope he meant his people were being hostile to me, because I was trying to keep it smooth. I really was. He also offered his resources as a mitigator, so I don't think he's mad at me.

It was infuriating, though, and the heart rate did its headache-inducing thing.

Next meeting in 15 minutes.
