Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had leftover pizza for brunch, so I'm afraid I'll be in snack mode for any future eating today.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Mmmm, avocados.

I had some roasted chicken, a hunk of cheddar cheese, and a cup of peach yogurt.

But the long walk I had before lunch was better than the food. It's in the upper 60s (F) and sunny here today. Breezy, too. Perfect walking weather.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

All my avocado are belonging to Laura. I had them leave those out of my California rolls. The fat is unappealing right now.

I had a cheese stick, a bag of froofroo gourmet potato chips and a minitootsie roll.

I regret the tootsie roll.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ooh, lunch report. I had a bowl of chicken and chorizo sausage gumbo, which I enhanced with a splash of chipotle tabasco and a splash of garlic tabasco.

Aren't you trying to put on weight?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It’s eat them up in the next week or so or toss them.

mmm, I had that when I bought a bag of avocados from Costco. I had not learned the technique of ripen some, leave some out, refrigerate some, so they all came ripe rather quickly. sooo, good though.

Oh! Thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot. If I'd been thinking, I wouldn't have gone and had that silly concussion thingy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm about to go stuff myself with something deep-fried. I'm not sure what yet. But I'm feeling a need to wallow.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I had fish & chips for lunch, brenda.
