I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh dear. That sounds like a modern take on a rather grim fairy tale.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Egad. One dead, so many others traumatized.

The status is NOT quo.

Kristin, I feel obliged to report that Aimee was prancing through the thread nekkid using your name prior to editing.

She was nekkid? And I missed it? I say again, maaaaaaannn...

Random musical frustration today. As I jumped in the car to run errands I punched up the Miami jazz station. Grrrrr. They have gone 24x7 holiday tunes. Now I like jazzy holiday tunes as much as the next person, but not to the exclusion of all jazz. So I get home and decide to get my real jazz fix from the tv. But instead of finding the list of music stations I am familiar with I see that they have gone to XM radio and it has all these stupid names instead of program descriptions. Now what music would you find on The Fish, Ethel, Squizz, The Loft, Music Lab, Fred, The Flow, and so forth. This is like work. Who thinks up this stuff? It was much easier when it just said Smooth Jazz, Swing, Light Classical, etc. Grrrrr again I say.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I bought a new car in June. I just got a letter from Honda saying they'd like to test the "emissions" from the car. They would take my car for 1-2 weeks and give me an Enterprise rental car for unlimited mileage. They would pick up and deliver the car to wherever I specify.

For all this, I would receive $100.

I think this is such a weird request, that I'm thinking of not cooperating.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They may be going to install surveillance equipment, LeN, but I wouldn't turn them down until I found out what class of rental you'll get.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

sigh.

T-Day was good. Today we rented a cargo van, went to IKEA and braved the crazy crowds to get a new entertainment center and a mirror. 5 hours total and now we are awaiting food to be delivered. I am HUNGERED!
