I'm also a huge fan of Lewis Black's apoplectic delivery.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah, that's true. I showed my mom "No Cure For Cancer" and she just said "My god, his poor wife!" although she chuckled some. And she does like "Rescue Me" a lot. (I confess to some curiosity about Mrs. Leary since she said that, though.) Ah, Lewis Black. Do you think it would bother him if I told him I liked him because I felt so comparatively calm afterward? He is right on a lot, too, though, imo.
Me too, though I keep waiting for his eyeballs to pop out and his heart to splode.
Er, that was to Cash.
Leary's much better on Rescue Me, where he's only allowed one hammy moment or so an ep. His shows have gotten to be too much ham for me.
I almost forgot: on my way to lunch I ended up behind an SUV with a license plate (not a bumper sticker, the actual plate) reading OUST GW.
Yeah...that show is coming along strong now, although the folks at the Waterfront got on me about comparing it to H:LOTS. "Not better or greater, but more popular." And I still think it has a similar energy and spirit.
I enjoyed this last season of Rescue Me a lot, but I'd call it a guy soap opera, as opposed to what Homicide was. YTVMV
Definitely more banging. And they called it that, too.
Cranberries suck. Potatoes rule. Except for sweet potatoes. And gravy is a fantastic excuse to eat more biscuits.
It's like it's opposite day!
Sigh. AAA has a site that will let you check traffic conditions along whatever route you specify, and of course I have been compulsively checking it for the trek to Long Beach. In the last 18 minutes, it went from 6 hours and 4 minutes with 2 traffic condition alerts along the way to 7 hours and 4 minutes, with 7 alerts.
