I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm at work with absolutely nothing to do. Suggestions?

I find great amusement in browsing my LJ Friends' Friends list.

hip deep in pie

Timelies! I had a flu shot this morning.

Last night was my first night trying to sleep with a mouth guard. I drool a lot, and then took it out in the middle of the night. I think it's going to take some getting used to.

morning. Yesterday I had off and it was rainy and gross. Today I work and, albeit cold, it is sunny. Fair? nsm.

Tonight I need to make pies and a salad. I haven't got the ingrediants yet. I am THAT person. Tonight I'll be in the grocery store beating old ladies to get to the last bag of cranberries.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

LJ friendsfriends is good for hours of entertainment, it's true. There's always the Web Boggle, as well.

Or you could learn econ for me, so I don't have to bring the book with me?

Thrive to spite them

The only thing I have to do at work today is a tiny bit of filing, which I'm saving for later and answering the phones. So far no one has called. I think I can make up one other thing to do but that and the filing will take up about an hour.

I think the only other person in my office is asleep. Not sure.

Can someone link to the cat stacking game?

information libertarian

amych or anyone else is welcome to come to my office where I am spread out on the floor matching a month's worth of FedEx receipts to the budget accounting. There are 2 full pages of 12-digit numbers to match to pieces of paper stacked 2 inches high with 12-digit numbers on them. I suppose this is why they call it work, although they could equally call it "mind-numbingly boring and repetitive tasks that a trained monkey could do if it were numerate and very detail-oriented."

I would prefer to have no work. instead I have a metric ton of real work. I have already called one client, am about to call another and I have a phone meeting with another set for 3pm (which is after the office closes). I've also been given 3 tasks already. ANNNNNNDddd we're off.

I'm glad I don't have to work today, but you know, I hardly work at all anyway. So, I guess I'm all packed and ready to go. My backpack weighs approx. 3 brazilian pounds, but a bunch of that will go away -- magazines I'm going to read and toss, water I'm going to drink...
