Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nighttime coughing is no fun. I'm sorry. When I've had that problem sometimes I could find a mostly sitting position that would let me sleep for a while. It's not ideal, but better than nothing. Maybe a little steam would help, too.

I won't be in my neck of the woods, so I wouldn't be able to see you anyway. Dress warm. It's supposed pretty cold and snow some.

I'd better try to catch a couple hours of sleep before I head for the train. I hope you get some sleep, too, vw!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just packed my stuff for this weekend. I have 9 bottles of wine, one bottle of scotch, a bottle of liqueur, and a box of mango juice in my suitcase, plus a few pieces of clothes.

With that much liquor, I think clothes are kind of moot.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had some insomnia, too. I think it was going around last night. Went to bed 11:30, wasn't asleep by 12:15, got up, watched a TV show ( Bones ) and then finally got some sleep... and now up by 6:30. Ugh.

On the other hand, work is letting us out early....

Nah. You need something to stop the bottles knocking off each other in transit.

Jars wins the Practicality Award for the week, I think.

DH gets out early today, too. I think at 1:00. Which is nice because we've decided not to drive to his folks' house until tomorrow morning. We'll have this afternoon and evening just to chill.

Note to Jilli: CUTEST babygoth boy delivered our pizza last night. Spikey hair, brow & lip piercing, black nail polish. Looked about 19. But the poor kid was obviously new and gave us the wrong order. He was gone by the time I figured it out so I had to call the pizza place. I felt bad for him and made sure the manager knew I wasn't upset. The kid came back later to bring me the right order and was just soooo sweet. He was having a rough night.

Of course they couldn't take back the other order so we ended up with $50 worth of pizza. I took the extra over to my neighbor's house. He's got a high school age son who opened the door and, when I told him what happened, said, "COOL! DAAAAAD!!! PIZZZAAAAA!"

Hee! Now that's a nice unexpected gift.

::waits for cake because a neighbor had a mistaken cake delivery....::

Your tag here.

I just had to figure out how to sign a card that makes an alarm sound when open. The card is loud and it is late.

Hee. I'm imagining you trying to defuse the card Mission Impossible -style. Possibly suspended from the ceiling, even.

She should have tried magnets, cleverly placed magnets.

Our wings are not tired.

I approached Natter this morning expecting some snark over the AMA show. (Not that I actually saw it, but I saw the news reports) Instead I found a variety of Natter worthy of the thread description. Do we all see the same colors? Non-Euclidean Geometry. Some grammar. Cool gay inventors. Cool suicides, or accidental suicides. Ranking rotten days. Typing speed. Tauntings of vacations with booze, and Lush deliveries. TAR. Cutey Lego link. Weather. Insomnia. Pizza via cutiehead gothboy. No doubt some other Natter too.

Hi all! I didn’t go into the office yesterday but I think I’ll go in now and take off early. I’m going to try that turkey brining stuff.
