Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ay yai, tommyrot. Good luck.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ay yai, tommyrot. Good luck.

Thanks. If I understand correctly, a certain amount of bleeding is OK, but if there is too much it can cause problems, which is why they wanna deal with it right away. My retina is not detached or torn or anything (which is another side effect of what I have), which is good.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That's good. I hope it goes well. Remember to ask for a valium for the road. In my case, my mother was driving me home from the surgery so it was really a necessity.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

For some reason today I have a flood of spam with zip attachments.

Our IT guy says it's a new virus.

I got one from Zoic Studios. Which is just weird. It's, like, targeted spam.

Yeah, I'm getting those too. Good times.

If my professor hasn't posted an online assignment yet, and we're generally supposed to respond to the online assignment the weekend before our Tuesday night class, I can be safe in assuming there won't be one this week, right?

Also, I was making great progress on my paper, but my cat just sat down on all my papers, so now I can't work. Boo hoo.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Prison Break well that's just the dumbest fucking thing Lincoln could have done.

Oh, hey, we've got a lot of editors and such types around here. Did the Harrah's story make it out of the area? Someone let a flier go out that was supposed to offer $20 or so in free chips - but somehow it came out as $525. The Illinois Gaming Board is making them honor it, to the tune of some six million dollars based on the number that were circulated before the error was discovered.

That's the kind of shit will keep you up at night, for sure.

That's like when the airlines put a flight at $1.99 instead of $199 on their website for a minute -- they usually honor it, I'm pretty sure.

OH! But when my aunt's mother had a thing like that with Ticketmaster, they totally screwed her -- it was on the local news consumer report and everything! They sold her good tickets at the cheap seat price or something.

Now tagless for your comfort.

FYI, Barack Obama has been rescheduled to appear on The Daily Show on Tuesday.
