I don't have any light tops. Unless we talk paisley. No wait! I have one white blouse--but white is so not flattering for me.

Beth, I'm in Nova Scotia. And it's an in-house librarian job for the CBC.

I could do green wool skirt, black or grey shirt, black cardigan.

Brown herringbone pants, light blue turtleneck.

After 8 years of working in one place, my work wardrobe really leans towards funky casual.

How about red linen dress, black cardigan.

Is red too aggressive? Because I have the same dress in blue, it just has an above the knee hemline. And it is November.

I think it sounds fine, Sue. But If you think there might be an expectation of more formality - I'd go with the skirt. I like the all black with blue because it is a sharp combination.

I really kind of want to wear my "ugly outfit" Brown herringbone pants, brown/moss green/peacock blue striped shirt, and red sweater vest. It's kind of ugly, but it works!

red with black cardigan sounds good. Dress - always seems more formal to people - and if red is your color - red is a confident color.

Do you feel good in your ugly outfit?

I do. But I think it's a little too funky for the interview...

A friend of mine has two kids, a girl and a boy. Girl was 7.5 lbs at birth, boy 9.5. By the time the boy was 1, he outweighed his older sister of 2 years. He was a solid little chunk. She was a teeny little thing. Both completely healthy. Boy takes after mom, girl after dad, down to her food preferences and ability to eat and eat and eat and still be a teeny little thing. Now that she's 5, kinder marvels at how she's a bottomless pit.

Another friend's kid, born 2 days earlier to other boy seems positively lithe next to chunkier boy. HIS sister's development was identical to his, down to the baldness until 2.

I was teeny and while I looked all properly plump and pink , put on weight very slowly. My brother was all long, tomato red (so funny looking) and always looked skinny, but he ate, oh how he ate. And never was a plump baby.

Basically? It's a crapshoot. As long as they aren't starving, you are doing fine.

Skippity. I don't know if this was already posted, but there's the best typo ever in the first paragraph. Look quick before they edit.
