Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shooooooz.

Of course, local news is promo-ing a thing on when the least hassle-filled hours to travel are.

You know what? I've found all of that to be bullshit. Whenever I've travelled at "off" times, it's been worse than going when I'm afraid everything will be mobbed. Eh.

KPRINKLE!

I'm not writing my paper.

Write!

I do know I hate morning flights, because between the normal morning traffic and then all the commuter fliers, uhg. Mid-day is usually better, but really, at BWI these days, it's all a tossup. Construction, new terminal, SW hub. ZOO. Doing the parking in Siberia and taking a shuttle is moderately less painful. Except at pickup on the way back. Then it REALLY sucks.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I like traveling with commuters, because they know the drill and stuff like going through security and boarding the plane goes a lot faster. The drive to the airport, however, sucks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm watching Arrested Development season one.

I'm theoretically sad I don't like it, but it means one more cancellation I don't care about.

So there's that.

Of course, Netflix shouldn't have sent it to me. I mean, I know I asked them to, but still.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm flying out Wednesday noon-ish, which I figure should be a low time -- anyone who took the whole day off is leaving earlier, and people who have to work part of the day won't be there yet. We'll see.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Of course, Netflix shouldn't have sent it to me. I mean, I know I asked them to, but still.

I smell class action.

sara, I thought you only wore 2 pairs of shoes.

For work, sure. It's just because I haven't gotten any really other comfy interesting work shoes. I have to replace my boots for this winter.

But not for work, I have the cherry red flues, the slip-on black canvas with the red ribbon bows, the red pair with the black bows, 2 pair sandals (those get used for work in the summer, true,) the flipflops for indoor shodding, sneakers.... And no, not all of those are being packed.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Beg to report: PBS had a show about rescuing animals from New Orleans, and it was weepy-making. Those poor dumb cats and dogs and their poor helpless owners. Also penguins, apes, a monitor lizard, eight dolphins, and a big white cockatoo.
