Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

ETA: Okay what LA-istas aren't up at this point?

Hey!

I was up entirely too late writing. I ignored the phone and internets and wrote and wrote and I AM SO STUCK.

And the apartment is disgusting and needs to be cleaned, and I have to clear out my trunk for Catalina luggage.

And I suck.

Be one with the primes, Emily.

I'm beginning to formulate a theory about Rowlf, Tom Waits and parallel evolution. Or, possibly, a really good test case for Intelligent Design.

Yay for writing! Is it OK to ask what about? Because if not, then ignore the question.

I AM SO STUCK

And I suck

No, you missed the "t" in the second sentence. Because I can believe the first verb, but not the second.

Everything is/can be difficult when you learn it for the first time

This is true. The problem is, since it's a History of Math course, I'm learning something for the first time every single homework (that is to say, they're not building on each other). This is very frustrating. Also, I'm stuck. Again. Maybe another failed attempt to see Harry Potter will put things right.

Yeah, I'm pretty convinced Allyson is not of the suckage. Unless you were really using that non-metaphorically, because I'm sure you're capable of eating popsicles properly, and the like, but you're not a bad person.

(Is that right? Popsicles doesn't have a k, does it? Does that mean our magical Clex-era capitalization spree was all wrong?)

I cleaned the apartment yesterday. I HATE coming back to a messy apartment.

I've printed out my tickets as well as everything else I need, just need to run downtown briefly, then come back and do laundry and pack. And figure out what to pack. Oy.

And send emails for my unplanning planning (ps I SUCK AT PLANNING WITH OTHER PEOPLE.) Ahem.

Finally found wiper refills at a totally old-school (probably hasn't changed decor since the year I was born) auto parts place, complete with toothless cashier. But they had them! They'll get my business.

I'm forgetting something. I must be. I always do.

On the silver-lining side, if there's a topic that's really difficult and resistive to understanding attempts, it's only there for the one assignment, right?

Maybe another failed attempt to see Harry Potter will put things right

Well, in all seriousness, sometimes just not-thinking about something for a while (and, I guess, letting the brain do its secret magic of sorting things out inside itself) may help looking at things with fresh eyes and improve their understanding.
