I'm doing very well. A little thing--I stopped caffeine for the sake of blood pressure and jitteriness and started drinking herbal tea instead of diet soda. I feel much better and it is so much fun exploring the world of tea! I get to try new ones and discover which ones I like and read up on the history of it, all very fun things.
Must be an early LA day. Baby woke up cause MM or I forgot to unset the alarm. So we've been up for an hour. She's having breakfast. Only 3.5 hours til her nap. Maybe we'll hit Target this morning.
Robin, can you have green tea? I had a great new one the other day at the Bean. It was Lemon Jasmine.
ETA: Okay what LA-istas
aren't
up at this point?
I was sad when they didn't have it at my Bean. I'm hoping they get some in soon because I want to stock up.
Kristin and ND, at this point.
Maybe I'll call them. Just to be, ya know, mean.
Okay what LA-istas aren't up at this point?
I want back to sleep, but I am pretty sure I was up by the time you posted this. I wish I hadn't gone back to sleep, actually, because I only got an hour's worth and yet I still feel all muzzy headed, like I slept too much.
Oh well, at least there is coffee now.
I'm guessing Allyson is still in bed.
I'm up, if we are having roll call. So are the kids.
Kat, I was going to say London because I love that city oh so much, but I think Robin just won me over to Brussels with her talk of fancy chocolate shops.
So here's my cute kid story for the morning. Both babies are in the play pen. I hear a definite BONK and then Isaac is crying. Well, it takes a little while to get the story out of Franny, but finally she answers my questions thusly:
"Did Isaac get hit?" "yes"
"What hit him?" (Points to a toy Isaac was playing with) "that"
"Who hit him?" "me"
I love it that she can't lie yet. I know it's a big developmental milestone when they learn to lie, but I am loving this pre-lying phase.
I don't have to shower just to go get a bagel, do I?
