::juggles wrenches::
I figure it's easier to go to London (or more likely that there'll be some other reason to go later), so you might as well do Brussells now instead.
ita threw a wrench in my decision making process. CURSES.
Yeah, if ita had favored (favoured?) London, she would have mucked up your decision process with a spanner.
One problem I have with California dressing is this: so often the mornings and evenings are cool. But midday is a full 30 degree difference so I have to find weather appropriate layers in appropriate grown up attire.
This year, since we have an autumn, we have a similar problem. Other than the "grown up attire", of course, which we don't really bother with, I think.
Kat, Brussells could fit into a longer trip, like you described. Could London do something like that, too? Because if not, then London is better for the 2-days thing, and Brussells for later, right? [Edit: hee. Completely opposite x-post with ita.]
I keep thinking that there are too many "s"s in "Brussells".
Season six is full of that. Except Bayliss sleeps with somebody cause he came back wrong and...oops, wrong Season Six. Sort of.
dies laughing
but from Dublin, it's much easier to go to London. Or maybe we should fly to Venice. though venice would take longer to fly to; to get to London and Brussels (and I can't figure out how to write that in English. Is it one "L" or two? and it's pretentious as all shit to write it as Bruxelles which is how I know to spell it) is abotu the same time and effort and money.
It cracks me up that fares are cheap but the taxes fees and bullshit are almost 50 times the fare.
unintentional spelling x post with Nilly.
Anne! How great to post with you and how are you doing and hey!
Has anyone flown on Song?
I haven't but I saw a doc. on the creation of the brand. Song are folding, I believe I read recently.
Jealous of the travel plans.
I ended up getting to spend the afternoon with my nephew yesterday. He's always a blast. Then I also got to spend two hours in the cold watching the "Festival of Light" (Xmas) parade. Still thawing out.
My nephew, at the end of our supper in a restaurant last night says, "I could kill for a home cooked meal right now." And we laughed. Then his mom asked him what kind of home cooked meal he was thinking of. He said, "Chicken nuggets and fries." Which sent us into hysterics.
WAIT! Song can't fold! I have tickets on them in January!
ARGH.
Or we could go for two days in Prague.
though Prague and Venice are both twice as much as flying to Bruxelles (I've given in) or London.
