I actually have slept 8 hours.

Yay for a good night sleep!

I think London cause easier. But Brussels I know better.

For me, the "know better" will be a point in favor of London, the less-known city. More new things to see and experience, right?

But Lori's never been to either.

Oh, so you can show her around Brussels, or even share parts of 'your' Brussels with her? Hmm, now that seems indeed quite appealing.

I'm not helping at all, aren't I?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Kat, I would vote for London, just because I have been to Brussels in late Feb/early March, and it was a frustrating time to go as a first time visitor, because I got the feeling that at another time of year, it would have been a beautiful city, but just then it was just kind of grey and dreary. Of course, your having lived there might negate that.

I only got in about 5 hours of sleep, but I think I am almost at the point where I may get in a little more, so I should be good. I also have a hot tub/massage scheduled for this afternoon, after which I plan to nap.

HA! Nope, not really. In reality, London is probably much easier and will probably be what I choose. I also haven't been to London in years.

I also need to figure out car/hotel for Ireland.

HA! You would think that, right? I mean May isn't so bad. And I've had a nice day in June there. But in reality, it rains almost 280 days a year in Brussels. I mean days with actual preciptation, not just grey and overcast. So it's often dreary.

But yeah, I get your point.

I would definitely vote for London then. Of course, I am a London theater whore, so I would always vote for London.

But, and the selling point for me and possibly Lori, Brussels has better chocolate and much better beer and the possibly of the best mussels in the world (not a selling point for me, but definitely for Lori).

Oh, that is a tough one.

Ah! now you get my dilemma. I think we should just put off Brussels until my summer break. Then we could to Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Paris, Cologne and maybe Sweden to see our friend Cynthia?
