Don't get me wrong...I can see how it could be humorous, without feeling like you spit on the flag. If I wasn't me, I'd find myself funny for it. Ironically, my psychologist once predicted, when I was quite depressed that I might find myself in a position to have a lot of knowledge about someplace I'd never been, but I think the example she gave was Venice. Oh, Erika, I was thinking about you the other day - I was killing time while watching tv doing that amazon turk thing. I really don't quite get the point - you look at a bunch of crappy pictures of building exteriors and check off ticky boxes, and apparently that's worth some tiny amount of money to someone. Anyway, one of the options was Baltimore and I got a real kick out of some of the shots. Cool way to see some bits of a city that don't make it into the tourist books, that's for sure.
