You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

And Jilli, did the skirt I gave you fit?

Hey, Jilli, I thought of you today. I found a black winter coat that probably dates back to the '50s in a closet here, and tried it on. It fits me with room to spare, and it's very retro and all black. You want I should email you a picture of it? Because you could have it, if you think you'd like it.

Squueeeeeeee! Um, er, yes, please send me a picture.

Yes Aimée, the skirt fits me. I'm wearing it right now, actually!

Oh good! I'm glad it's going to get use out of it.

Because books.

Will do -- might be tomorrow, though, because I think the digital needs new batteries.

You feeling pretty good, post-op? Hope so! Be good to yourself.

I'm feeling amazingly good. A little tired, but otherwise, just fine. (White-fonted for the squeamish: I had a procedure that involved scarring the lining of my uterus. 70% of the women who have this done don't have periods again, while the other 30% have hugely-reduced cramps. My doctor warned me I might feel some cramping while I healed, but so far, it hasn't been anywhere NEAR the levels of my usual menstrual cramps. )

Hello hello! Barging in to say, first of all: Happy birthday DX! May you have a penguin-filled festive day.

Also, is there going to be a Slacker gift exchange this year? For the first time, I was disorganized enough not to sign in for the one I set up. Uh, oops.

Good! But take it easy and follow doctor's orders anyway, huh? Plus, it's good to be pampered!

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Oh, wait. I just got it. With Columbia House, you got to keep the material.
