Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

So, I'm catching up on the DVR. I'm on my 3rd PrisonBreak. Good Times.

Can anyone give me a good reason to not buy my birthday/Christmas present to myself today?

I think I just splurged on a present for myself, so why not?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh dear lord. A guy who was with me on my high school newspaper is now teaching journalism at my alma mater. BWAHAHAHAHA! His ratings all say he's a "cool guy". Of course he's cool, he's probably got better comics collections than all of his students put together.

Eddie, I'm a little peeved that it's gonna take me two semesters to understand Galois Theory, and here somebody goes and writes a pop-science book on it. UNFAIR!

Specially since I won't get to take the second semester, so I may never understand it! It will be like this big unfinished thing in my life! Like my homework!

I killed it dead. Are you all avoiding me, or do you really have interesting lives?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

this lane is reserved for ten items or less fewer.

My late, lamented Good Grocery store had their pre-printed signs say "fewer." I always liked it. I don't live in the neighborhood any more, and the store is closed. Alas.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I first saw ratemyprofessor.com sometime last year. As far as I can tell, almost nobody at my school who teaches first-year calculus gets good ratings for it. I'm (thankfully) not rated by anyone yet, but I have been mentioned, though not by name, in the reviews of a few professors for classes where I was the TA. (Huh. And the professor I'm TAing for this semester apparently "looks just like a Russian Super Mario.")

So, I am procrastinating (wrong thread for this) but I have rediscovered my love for the panda cams! Right now the DC Panda is so cute and active that I almost can't stand it.

Hehehe.

OK, so two items off my now-consolidated list. And my nails are done!
