Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Trust my rage

I have nothing to say about sleep drugs but this:

so the nurses presented me to my Mom in a red Christmas stocking

is the cutest story ever. I think I would have kept the stocking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where's your tag from, bon?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Teppy--I am waiting for my doctor's office to open because I see that I am not supposed to take Lexapro and Imitrex--and I am about to enter Week of Womanly Wonder, where I get slammed with migraines every day. You know anything about this? I can't be doing without my Imitrex.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

newsflash: Halloween in Salem, MA AKA Witch City is pretty crazy.

The train depot this morning was trashed.

We had some trick or treaters, and we hung out with our co-home owners (condo neighbors) and drank a couple glasses of wine and then I was paranoid for the rest of the night that I said/did stupid stuff. Tom and I ate dinner (pumpkin flavored fresh papadelle pasta w/prociutto and toasted pine nuts/pumkin seeds/almonds & sausage) and then strolled into town. Ca-razy!

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

Halloween in Broward County was cancelled.

I think I'm going to frame the newspaper picture with the picture of Mrs. Flintstone and the word Bitch plastered next to it. It feels vaguely appropriate.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I woke up completely exhausted this morning and decided to call in sick instead of fighting it. The resulting 3 extra hours of sleep have helped immensely.

ION, I have no idea why my upstairs neighbors open their door to the laundry room and then close it again 30 seconds later several times a day. They actually have to descend the stairs to do anything in the room, but I just hear them open the door and then close it again a short while later. At first I thought they were listening for the washer and dryer, but this happens even when neither of us is doing laundry.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Teppy--I am waiting for my doctor's office to open because I see that I am not supposed to take Lexapro and Imitrex--and I am about to enter Week of Womanly Wonder, where I get slammed with migraines every day. You know anything about this? I can't be doing without my Imitrex.

What I've found is as follows:

Imitrex (sumatriptan) – when taken with Lexapro may cause more side effects, though the two drugs may sometimes be used together with close monitoring by a physician.

That's not an absolute contraindication, just a "Keep an Eye On Yourself If You Do This." (And no, it didn't say what side effects are most likely to be exacerbated.)

t edit And in looking on MEDLINE, there are no actual reports of the combination resulting in Bad Stuff. So there's that.

t edit again And when you Google the two drugs' generic names along with "interaction" (like so -- "escitalopram sumatriptan" +interaction), there are also no reports of badness.
