The boar? Is the new lake.
Ooh, so are we thinking the retort was a reference to that? Cause that would be pretty cool.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

connie, anyone with a password that doesn't have a number or non alphanumeric character in it gets that message
Mine's just words, but I have yet to get such a message. Maybe lj doesn't really care if anyone guesses my password.
Matt, I keep telling you, "ImpeachTheShrub" is not that hard to guess. Seriously, though.

If it's not, I'm a way bigger loser than originally projected.
I just had to email people in NY to ask them to do something that a) I know how to do, and b) have time to do, but c) thanks to our lovely IT set up, spent 6 minutes on a pay per minute web site and still hadn't gotten to any page that would let me enter a search strategy.
Kind of hate that.
Not a loser, ita, because that was my first thought, too. Unless I'm a big loser as well? It's possible.
One Buffista, two Buffista, three Buffista, four
Four Buffistas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the Buffista buggies go
Far enough to bring you the Buffista Org Show!
Thank you very much for the earworm, tommyrot!

Or maybe I'm just slow.
brenda, join us in the loser corner!
(I'm still at the university and it's already tomorrow. I didn't finish what I need for tomorrow, and I won't, either, before I go home. I'm the loserest.)
[Edit: 4*7=28. I'm loserest-minus-math, then.]
Help help, I have an amazingly clueless question about credit cards & interest rates. I am looking at the Amazon.com credit card, which has 0%APR for the first six months, and then a variable rate (which is currently 15.74%). Is that good? I have no idea.
I need to start (re)building my credit history. It's now clean (after being very, very bad), but it's ... non-existent. (All the bills & household credit cards are in Pete's name, for the reason that my credit was HORRIBLE.)
One of the systems I use won't let you repeat the same character in the same space. (for how many times I don't know) Which is a tremendous pain in the ass when you can't remember all your previous passwords.
I just spent 2.5 hours photocopying applications. It was tedious and the toner smell is making my lightheaded, but hey, I'm getting time and a half for it. Have to pay off this trip to NYC somehow.
I don't want to be at work today. Not that I have anything to DO, mind you, but I still don't want to be here.
You should go home and watch goth videos. Preferably while drinking port and eating dark chocolate.
