The school password system is fairly rudimentary -- you have to change it every couple of months, but they don't care what it is as far as characters go. Every so often my boss has me go into his email for something, and his password is always his name with 666 attached somewhere. Makes me laugh.

I love this rejoinder!
Jane Austen academics have slammed a sexed-up Hollywood adaptation of classic novel Pride & Prejudice - insisting the movie is "totally inappropriate." The Jane Austen Society in North America, which also berates Keira Knightley's posture and Matthew MacFadyen's looks, have even threatened to cancel a special screening of the film at their annual convention. President Joan Klingel Ray says, "The film is full of sexual imagery which is totally inappropriate to Austen's novel. In one scene, a wild boar, which I assume is supposed to represent Darcy, wobbles through the farm with its sexual equipment on show." However, director Joe Wright is unperturbed by the criticisms: "They can go jump in a lake."
From IMDB.
My passwords get me access to a lot of stuff. Moon won't explode, I doubt there's been duel involving blood (I will NOT count grad students, especially if they've been drinking) in this field in the past 100 years or anything, but if the stuff I have access to get deliberately fucked, people could be fired, and I think there's also technically grounds for legal prosecution. Oh, And People Would Be Scandalized. Believe me, there is nothing quite as annoying as a righteously indignant scientist.
Needless to say, I'm careful. More careful than I am with passwords that contain info about me.
And Umm I just looked out my window and one of the redshouldered hawks is in the tree not 10 feet away. SO fucking cool.
Not looking at keyvoard. Postong by reflection in widow.
The scientists win. I am now broken, defeated, a shadow of the secretary I once was.
Hmph. Stupid scientists.
EDIT: OMG, practically verbatim laisse-faire x-post with Theodosia!!
Even funnier when you know we work at the same company.
The scientists win.
Say it ain't so!
OMG, I'm so cranky about the fact that now I have econ homework every week, when we never had it before the midterm. Especially because as far as I can tell, the homework problems vary between being copy-from-the-book answers, and problems that are more complicated than either what's in the book or what we did in class. I am IRKED.
Man, I had a great 10 days or so of not being irked by school.
