Oh, I've read, super bon bon. I'm having trouble deciding what's the most TAL appropriate, I'm so intimidated by it all.
'Out Of Gas'

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
It seems to me like there are two ways to go -- something like the ita story, which is more "See? We're so regular!" or something that more "look at the crazy people." Not that that helps you at all.
There's an ita story which makes us look like normal people?

What do they say is the best for them?
Maybe you can start with what may not fit, from all that you have, and then have fewer options to choose from?
Perkins, questions like, "A few weeks ago, I saw this red book on this shelf. Well, I think it was this shelf. Maybe it was the next row over. Anyway, it had a picture of a kid with a dog in it. Do you know which book that was?"
Stuff like that?
My suggestion is the story only you can tell. As stupid as that sounds, what I mean is-- how many people could this happen to? So if it's a choice between running a campaign to save Firefly or having a total stranger come live with you, I'd say the former. Even if that total stranger is a total badass-- still.

Did someone make this "ask a librarian asinine questions day" without telling me?
We used to do this in college. There was a library hotline that would look up info for you. My roommate would call with questions like "Do penguins have ankles?" Of course, this pre-dated Google.
There is white stuff falling from the sky.
hrmph. Actually, the wind the past few days has been worse. Driving thru construction zones is scary. Too many things just ready to blow away.
Ah, good ol' 14As. Better than the 10K, I say!
