Also, I think what I am going to go with is having them choose a character from one of the two plays we did this semester.
You could also choose something big and classic - like Midsummer's Night's Dream, because it's possible to do the show with everyone in the same base costume, and then to indicate class and role by draping, accessorising, etc. Romeo and Juliet works too, if it is boy-skewed.
They've also been rerunning blocks of
Earl
on Saturdays a couple of times. So you can have an Earlathon!
I've always liked Jason Lee and find that he's pretty cool even with the facial hair. But my Sekrit Boyfriend is Randy -- the Niles to Lee's Frasier. And next week?
Beau Bridges
guest-stars as their father, which I anticipate will be Comedy Gold (Pooh Case Intentional).
I alternate between Randy and Crab Man, to be honest. I just love everyone on that show.
Does anyone else luuurrrurve My Name Is Earl?
yup. of course - that reminded me that I must go make sure I keep this weeks ep until DH gets back.
I really like it as well. For a while, they were doing an "easy view" on Bravo, so I could see it every week, but they stopped. Now, I watch it on the bedroom TV and tivo commander in chief. if I'm not home, I suffer. My diamond shoes are too tight.
I do the same thing with Earl and House.
That's why I'm not watching it! Easy View disappeared. I mean, I have a season pass.
TiVo makes you stupid.
If it's against House, then I'm watching Supernatural at the time, I think. Or Gilmore Girls. Something else.
It would be Supernatural that is up against Earl, not GG, and you can Easy View that one.
Go Earl, choose Earl!
My Buffista Brainstorming thing is that I have to come up with about 10 character descriptions which might lead to interesting costumes and include things like age, social status, occupation, time period, weather, activity, etc etc.-- any ideas where I might be able to find this already done in some way?
We could just make some up, no? Like Prussian maid in 1840s, NYC 1980s businessman, like that?
I easy view supernatural. but I rarley watch Earl as it is playing. I barely know when shows are actually on now.
