"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I have heard of Matisyahu because he was profiled in an article by Deborah Caldwell, called "Yo! Or is it Oy?" (I think it was the New York Times, but I forget.) It was really an article about the mix-and-match urban culture environment, and a Matisyahu sighting was the opening scene.

It is also the third-funniest partly-Yiddish title I've seen, after the non-fiction book Boychiks in the Hood (about Hasidim in New York) and "Shvitz! The Yiddishe workout" (a video for learning Yiddish, or possibly aerobics, or both, and might be apocryphal).

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I don't know. But in one episode that I saw they did take the future arsonists to see a New Edition reunion concert, so props for that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Today, a guy I know and adore told me, "you have to remember, men are peacocks."

And I was totally floored. It never occurred to me before. I think he's right.

My problem is that I'm not peacocky enough.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Was Bobby performing?

My problem is that I'm not peacocky enough.

Have you ordered the shoes yet?

No Bobby. He was off being himself on Bravo. But they did have Ronnie, Ricky, Mike, Ralph and Johnny Gill (AKA Greasiest man in captivity).

It'll do, it'll do...which just reminded me of something I heard once (and can't remember where)--"It's so hot it made Bobby brown and Keith sweat."

Cracks me up every time. Sometimes things are simple.

Almost done the charter, almost done.

No! I'm too afraid of an ill-fitting fiasco to buy shoes online. I'll have to find some locally.

So then, do I buy the fancy shoes in a gay part of town or a straight part?

Maybe in an area that borders both....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

What does peacocky mean to you here, Allyson? Vain? Hoping to show off talents in order to attract females?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

although watching him brings on a strange sort of sensory dissonance.

Sort of like when Jim Nabors used to sing opera?
