Smartest thing I did was walk into the dealership with a financing offer from LendingTree, which the dealer ended up matching and cutting the cost of the car by a grand to get it to the approved loan amount.
Yeah, I did the same thing when I purchased my truck (albeit not LendingTree) and it's amazing how you suddenly become the car salesman's best friend when you wave a check under their nose. "Knock a grand off? Sure! No problem, buddy!"

It wouldn't appear so: [link]
Why do you ask?
OMG, you can add lush products to an Amazon wishlist. I just WENT TO TOWN.
Ah, a January premiere. Thanks!
I just realized that with new seasons starting, I hadn't seen it and, since the proverbial they slipped

I don't think anything could make today salvageable.
Maybe a rollicking impeachment.

Happy birthday sumi! My there are a lot of November birthdays.
Speaking of which, one of my best friends turns 29 "for the first time" this weekend. She's having a thing out at her house on Friday. Now I'm all cranky about all of this for a few reasons, some practical some not. First, I turn 30 a week from Saturday, so an "OMG I'm going to turn 29 so I'm going to make a huge deal because NO WAY am I turning 30!" Is not helping with any anxiety I may or may not be pretending I don't have. Second, her house is practically in Oklahoma, which means taking busy highways at a busy time of day and being on the road for about an hour after I get off work. I was hoping to catch a ride with someone else, but she's going up there early to help set up. I'm also not going to be able to stay long because I go into work at about 8:15 Saturday morning and the drive back home is as long as the drive up there.
So basically I'm looking at an hour drive at 6:00 traffic to get to a party with a theme that makes me pretty uncomfortable, where I may be able to have a glass of wine or two before getting back on the road for an hour drive home and then going straight to bed for work the next morning.
