It's kind of a "which of my favourite children should I give an extra present to?" thing. Elitist wrongheaded show-cancelling bastards!
::rends hair::
I dreamt I asked someone to shoot me in the head. While not a nightmare (I was then appalled by the mess it made of my hair, and couldn't decide which hospital to drive to), I was relieved upon awakening to find it false.
Happy birthday, Sumi!
Good news -- I realized I had oatmeal to make for breakfast! So that's good, even though I don't really like oatmeal.
And I guess I'm going to be late for work, but I don't care. No one ever notices anyway.
From yesterday:
Kinsey's Institute for Sex Research sign for sale on eBay:
I sent Jessica's eBay link to the folks at the Kinsey Institute and got back several nostalgic notes about the old days of the institute. But by this morning they had decided to contact the seller about recovering their stolen property. They tell me that universities now search eBay every week for this kind of thing, but that they hadn't noticed this one yet.
How do I get 10 pounds of mashed potatoes on the boat to Catalina?
Fill ziplocs and fashion into a skirt? Ask complete strangers to smuggle along packages of mashed potatoes and recover upon arrival?
Today has got to be better.
TV shows: Hmm. Boondocks, maybe. There's a lot of Grey's Anatomy fans around here it seems. That's all I can think of right now.
ABC plans to show GA after the Superbowl. I think they're good and don't need our help.
How about Supernatural on the WB? That's cute, even if I don't feel it's in jeopardy.
I'm enjoying the new lawyer show with Christian Kane on it, but I can't remember what it's called.
Are KC and AD canceled for sure? Defamer was implying last week that the only news was a reduced season order. But I could have missed a press release somewhere. If it is true that they're not "officially" cancelled (hush, Allyson) then I put in a vote for them.
ETA: ha ha! I defy regional spellings for the verb of cancel!
