"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Hmm. I took a little break to do other homework and check some Web sites... an hour ago. Grr. Back to the grindstone.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I made myself a salad with dinner, with lettuce and everything.

I even ate it, too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

your body needs time to heal itself

My body would be better served by letting me sleep.

I had dinner. Some tuna rolls. Luckily the anti-nausea meds work after the meal as well as before. The good thing is, though, I'm getting a little hungry at mealtimes. That's definitely new.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My body would be better served by letting me sleep.

Says you.

My poor friend who has pancreatitis or gallstones or who knows what was apparently able to eat a piece of toast today, after like a week, so she went to class tonight. Dude! One piece of toast?!?!? That is not well enough to go to class!!

I've had long hours to think up a healing effect of insomnia, but I'm coming up dry.

That is not well enough to go to class!!

Her alternative was probably insanity. It's well enough.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

How do I get 10 pounds of mashed potatoes on the boat to Catalina? We're only allowed two carry-ons. Can mashed potatoes be considered a carry-on?

More opportunity to feel well enough to eat?

Yeah, I got nothing.

We carried them on the metro once, in Montreal. In the sauce pan, because we didn't have any tupperware. With mittens, because we were late and didn't have time for the pan to cool enough. Good times.

Fuck. I just remembered I forgot to go to the grocery store, so I have literally nothing for breakfast tomorrow, unless I want to have carrots. Or tuna. Possibly ramen. All of which are NOT breakfast!

Also, I had two glasses of wine at lunch, and then coffee, in the hopes that they would cancel out, but now I'm thinking not so much, as I was jittery all afternoon and now seem to still be awake.

Also also, they just called my U. by the old (minorly different) name on Colbert, but Kerrey didn't correct it. I thought the New Bullshit Branding was all him!
