I wonder how many people got to the survey from whrere, how the information propogated.

I did ask how each person found out about the survey, so I'm sure I'll get some answers from that.

So, um, yeah, I'm a geek, what else is new?

Hee!

Do you have already in mind the questions you want to check with this data?

Primarily I'll be looking at what kinds of needs are/were filled by these online communities, and are they similar or different between the Bronze and the Buffistas. There are other things too, of course, but that's the big one.

Am I nagging you with too many questions?

Nope. It's fun to see other people excited about the project too.

ETA: Holy cow, Kat! That is a really busy schedule!

Between teaching full time, grad school, and teaching writing methods at a local university, I'm sort of swamped

Wow. I knew about the first two, but had no idea about the third (what's "writing methods", asked the ignorant physics student?). No wonder you're up at such hours! Are the schedules of all three overlapping, or will you have some time with 'only' a couple of the three?

I'm sure I'll get some answers from that

Will it be possible to sort them by time? Like, how long after the beginning of the survey/the posting of the link did the person actually fill the survey?

Yup, still reads fascinating. Do you have an early assumptions, or just want to check the question?

Nope

Good, because I find it so interesting, it's hard for me to stop asking...

I could do that, yes. We'll see. I'm going to be somewhat limited in my analysis, because I only have so much time to analyze.

Do you have an early assumptions, or just want to check the question?

I have assumptions, but they're probably incorrect, so I'm going to plead the fifth :).

Ok. Shower time! Have a good day, everyone!

Nilly, methods is short for methodology, which are the strategies and techniques one uses to teach something. So I'm teaching teachers writing strategies for them to teach to their students. Thank god I have coteacher.

Oh and I'm facilitating/leading/coteaching a class on pop culture in the classroom at the same university.
