The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Plei, I wasn't able to use my Alaska Air miles for my Miami trip the way I was hoping to. Can I come visit you?

And to the current skip-poke-head-to-post: according to the Buffista Calendar, today is ChiKat's birthday. Happy birthday, ChiKat! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Happy Birthday, ChiKat!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy Bithday ChiKat!!!

vw! It's been forever since I last posted with you!

I just saw your post about the cookbook - way to go on a completion of the project!

How are your studies going? Any interesting results from the survey already?

I know! That's why I had to poke my head in and say hello!

Thanks! My team was an amazing help...couldn't have done it without them (Raq, brenda m, and Deena).

Studies are going well, I'm a little behind in things, 'cause I've missed two weeks due to my asthma. So, things have been crazy. But, I go back to classes and work today, which will be good. I've been getting stir-crazy. I haven't gotten to spend much time on the survey data analysis yet, but what I've done has been fascinating. I ended up getting 554 responses to the survey, so there is a TON of data there!

Oh, that's so sweet.

Raq, brenda m, and Deena

It's good to know that, too. I mean, I knew it wasn't your project alone, but until now I didn't know who worked on this with you.

Go you! Of course it will be good.

Wow. Do you have any data on how many are Buffistas and how many bronzers?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Giraffe totally wins VS Hyena, excepting for giraffes in bad shape, squash court or no. They can kick in any direction, and that's a lot of muscle and bone.

For a non-astronomical sum, you can hand-feed giraffes at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, which I highly recommend, especially as the money goes right to the zoo. (Plus, giraffe saliva isn't disgusting, since they're herbivores.)
