Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

As Tommyrot notes, Soon Yi runs the relationship - at least as seen in Wild Man Blues.

NYTimes reports:

Republicans close to the selection process said over the weekend that the leading candidates were Judge Alito, Judge J. Michael Luttig of the Fourth Circuit, Judge Alice M. Batchelder of the Sixth Circuit, and Judge Priscilla R. Owen of the Fifth Circuit.

So we're definitely glad we didn't get Luttig, Batchelder or Owens, right? Weren't some of them on the filibuster list?

Damn, Bush really got down on his knees and sucked some core constiuency cock didn't he?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've had the image of infantilised adults dancing at the edges of my subconscious for days now, and I knew there was no way I could make it through the 31st without having to face it head on.

Ick.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Are they in diapers?

I FFed through the Brown Note Mythbusters yesterday, so yeah, they were in diapers. It's like a conspiracy of someone else's fetish.

Uh oh for Red Sox fans...

The youngest general manager ever to win a World Series is leaving Boston. Theo Epstein told Red Sox brass he wasn't returning just hours before his contract was set to expire tonight at midnight.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

As for Janet, all I know is that she and James supposedly had a love child that she then sent to live with Reebie. According to Young Debarge and his new CD pimp-age.

INteresting.

OK. Am slowly acquiring gruntle. I have seen several cute trick-or-treaters, did not get egged (saw one egg on my block), and have acquired candy in case the Neighbor Kids knock on my door. It hasn't happened yet in NYC, but YOU NEVER KNOW. I have also tested the candy to make sure it was OK.

I'm also watching Ellen's Halloween show, which is entertaining, and also has a Zombie theramin player.
