It is fucking fantastically beautiful here. Perfect fall day - a little bit crisp, so you have a sweater and jacket but the jacket's not done up - leaves all around, fall smell in the air. Gah. Gorgeous. I'm not sure what month mother nature thinks it actually is, but I'll take it.

After we shower and dress, we're going to look at furniture. There's a couple of pieces we need to finish things out here. With luck we'll find stuff we like that isn't massively expensive.
Can someone please come over and differentially diagnose my living room lamp? I sure don't want to work out why the replacement bulb doesn't work. In fact, to test that bulb, I'm going to have to switch it with the dining room overhead. Theoretically. It's the only other fixture in my apartment that takes normal bulbs.
Can someone PLEASE diagnose ita's lamp for her? The dining room overhead sounds like it'll require standing on a chair or a stool of some sort and ita standing on remotely wobbly things makes me nervous.
