Oh, my cats start whining at 5:30 these days. They get fed the wet food and shot at 7. But my god, Devi starts bitching at 5:30. Every time I'm near the kitchen (which is a lot of the time) I'm tripped by a teeny insistant tabby. Nevermind there is plenty of dry food at the ready.

Which is why I switched to evening feedings only. The time she woke me up at 4:00 am demanding her quarter cup of kibble was the last straw! She sleeps all day, anyway, so at least she's full when she has her evening craxies, pingponging around the apartment.
ETA: I keep thinking that maybe I should feed her more, since she finishes off her evening half cup usually by noon at the latest the next day, leaving her with no food until I get home after 7:00. But she's already packing on the pounds, no matter what I try to get her to lose the weight. I'm just hoping that the cat I'm supposed to be adopting next month will work out and give her a buddy to play with and chase around the place.
Hah. That's the disadvantage of having a sugar cat. I adjusted his schedule, but they still get the routine ingrained. 7 and 7. Screw time changes! Ah well, the good news is that they'll eventually adjust. Bad news is that they as yet don't get it. But they both like me lollying in bed an extra hour, so I get extra affection for the annoyance.
I made a response earlier about Reeese Witherspoon being Satan's Spawn.
The board ate it. The board, she is hungry in that way.
Oooh, Kathy! You are getting her a buddy? Cool! Bottom line is that if they are putting it on, they are well fed, so don't worry. It get more complicated with more than one, but really, not a big deal. It helps if the cats don't like each others' food. (I don't know how you accomplish this, I just got lucky. Dev won't eat MK's food and viceversa.)
I will confess this is not the first time I have found someone who is probably a bad person physically attractive.
and probably not the last?
sarameg - you mean Diane Farr? I didn't know that she was on c.s.i.
Is this where I confess my freakass badboy dream for this week?
Um...ok, no. Let's just say, NPR is not always a good influence. And I'm more interested in msbelle's interest in 50's ovens and the general existence of iron-front buildings than I thought.
It was really weird.
sumi, no idea, I didn't watch the credits. If nasal, yes. CSI gets everyone these days for bit parts.
My dreams have been incredibly on topic. Which I don't really love, all told, because escape would be cool.
