Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oooh! That'd be great, Cash! MiL has said she is going to send us some for Em's birthday. We'll see.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did a Skee-Lo thing happen? Did I miss that? Can a sister be hooked up, all retroactive-like?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Okey Dokey. I can copy them and send them to you this weekend, provided I can remember how to use my CD burner.

Can I be, too??

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Is it heartless of me that I wasn't?

I vote no. I recall someone asking for health-ma or job-ma or somesuch for a relative/friend/penpal/whatever that they were reluctant to name or give away any explanatory information about. It was very difficult to avoid posting "And this is going to help this hypothetical person how, exactly?" at the time.

If I only had a brain...

It was very difficult to avoid posting "And this is going to help this hypothetical person how, exactly?" at the time.

That was Suela asking for me, because I couldn't say in public, under my real name, that I was job-hunting.

FWIW, I got the job.

Are you sure? The instance I'm vaguely remembering, I didn't get the impression that the person who was being nominated for good vibes was even known to anyone on the board, let alone actually a buffista.

I'm sure it's happened more than once.

In fact, I know it has, because I've done it, and felt quite silly right afterwards.

Plus, it didn't work out.

So there.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I agree with Matt, ChiKat, not heartless. It's like saying "someone's hurt, right now, isn't that sad" well, yeah, but we'd all be imobilized by depressioned if we felt full on empathy and pain and sadness for all the bad and sad in the world. and you can tell the crazy friend I said so, maybe even add in a Jesusita.

Will you please stop swearing at me?
