Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

I can't even.

The Canadian Halloween off thing was jusst was I was told by my Canadian roommate. It may even just have been a (her) school thing.

I've never heard of schools (or anything, really) being shut for Hallowe'en up here, but who knows? Might have been a local board of education thing.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Today feels so FREAKING LONG because it's only 4:40 but the light outside says it's 5:40. Sigh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, you're right.

Except I also had the awesome combination of no boss/no work for a boring first part of the day, combined with STRESSED OUT BOSS/MUST GET EVERYTHING DONE in the second part of the day. Awesome.

I hate driving home in the dark.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I was just going to say that the downside of fall back is now kicking in. It'll be pitch black by the time I get home tonight. So sad. And I got sesame chicken sauce all over my new white turtleneck. Also sad. And I cannot even concentrate on the new Supreme Court nominee because I am too distrurbed that Brangelina is thinking about adopting another child. When did the Jolie turn into a modern day Mia Farrow?

And I got sesame chicken sauce all over my new white turtleneck.

But at least it will be dark so you can't see it!

Or something.

My window faces west. The sun is now set.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder what ethnicity Angelina will go for next? I think she should adopt Janet Jackson's notdaughter.

You know what's funny (or perhaps not)? It wasn't until yesterday that I used the word concussion, and even then, it was just as shorthand, so I didn't have to spell out my symptoms. I certainly didn't mean I had one.

I'm so out of practice.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And I cannot even concentrate on the new Supreme Court nominee because I am too distrurbed that Brangelina is thinking about adopting another child. When did the Jolie turn into a modern day Mia Farrow?

So you're saying she should pick one who'll grow up to be hot?

Man, I am STILL not over that squick. I know she wasn't HIS kid but ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
