I hate it when real life interferes with Natter. I hadn't even caught up in the old Natter.

t Waving to the new thread

t Unless anybody posts while I'm typing this - and considering the timezones, the chances for that are slim - I'm going to have post # 3³ And I don't remember when I had a double-digits post #

[Edit: I wanted to post another line, saying that what I just wrote above simply invites Murphy to play. Hmm, had I posted that, would Raq's post still be before mine?]

Sorry Nilly!!! I like 27 also, as all multiples of 9 are good.

PS: I'm reading Einstein's Clocks and Poincare's Maps; did you say you'd read it?

Then you deserve that number. Or something.

Einstein's Clocks and Poincare's Maps

I've been dying to read it for ages. I read other stuff by the same writer, and he's excellent, IMO. I wasn't able to find it in Israel, yet, but I hope I will. How do you like it?

It's very good so far. I'm fairly familiar with Einstein's work (and Newton's) that he's discussing, but not that familiar with Poincare's, but it's very readable and interesting.

And I don't even want to try to calculate the odds of me posting simultaneously with you.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Sheesh, I go out Halloweening and you all start a new thread on me.

I am very tired. I don't think I've been up this late in ages and have reached the point where I'm seeing things out of the corner of my eye. As soon as I finish my Sausage McMuffin (I just wanted a couple double cheeseburgers, but apparently they switch over to the breakfast menu at 4am. Phooey.) I am crashing. Well, finish breakfast and clear off my bed, since I tore my closet apart trying to find the gloves for my costume and it turned out they were in the trunk of my car. Ugh.

Still, had a lot of fun. Got a little more drunk than I meant to, but didn't do anything embarassing, so I call that a win.

Well, we are the among closest in terms of timezones, so when most of the board is asleep, it's not that far from probable.

[Edit: instead of s³ I got both Raq and 33. I think it's a fair trade, even if it's not a ,ultiplication of 9]

[Another Edit to wave to Kalshane]

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

of course, you will be gone now that I am here - but I think y'all should finish the last thread starting with about post 9921. it iwll go fast. but before coffee might be weirder than it needs to be.

Turns out I don't need to sleep to dream. my brain thought it would be cool if a couple of famous writers from a few tv shows came to our house concert. My brain has been haveing way too much fun ever since. Which while fun, does not make for sleep

Not in my timezone, we won't. But I hope you get some sleep, soon, beth, on top of the fun dreams.
