Silence means security silence means approval

Has anyone ever tried Getting Things Done?

Yup.

Art Crawl!!!

Did you guys watch GG last night? OMG, FINALLY -- there is a blow-up between Emily and Rory. I was so worried that the Jesse coming back would be WFTH - but really - it worked so well. Also, Logan was at his most assholey - and next week Lorelai and Rory FINALLY start talking again.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Awesome that doing my homework just convinced me not to spend any more time on my homework -- one of the questions was about utility in studying habits, and this is a check/no check kind of assignment, so 10 minutes is plenty!!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

bon, I've gotten a lot from it, although I don't follow the method exactly. There's very good stuff there, although it can get a little too "you must use exactly this label-maker because the guru says so" among the adherents.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I want a Luke Danes of my very own.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Right, so. I have been abandoned by my boss and my coworker, who both e-mailed me this morning to say that they were taking the day off.

Also, it is about twenty degrees warmer today than it was yesterday. Mm, smell that tornado weather.

Is that even legal?

I got a call this morning from the people who I wrote the course for. They wanted to know when the updated was going to be posted. I managed not to say either "Oh, when Portland Man gets over his snit," or "You know how I kept giving you all of those deadlines that you zoomed past? This is why they existed."

Then, of course Portland Man apparently updated the stuff yesterday (which is good), but without sending any sort of notification to us (which is bad and unusual). But I don't have to communicate with Portland Man today, and that makes it better than yesterday.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Yay! NYC is getting its first new subway line since WWII: [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

GG is on FIRE this season. So so so so good.

TAR, well...eh. I'm not hating it this year, but generally by the final 4, I feel like I know the teams pretty well. This year, the challenges havebeen set up so that I have no idea what the remaining teams are good at. I feel like it's going to come down to luck, and not much else.

I also loathe the Weavers with a stone passion. The throwing garbage at the other teams cars, along with the whiny "We're the only ones on this race trying to live a Christian life!" at the pit stop -- feh. Maybe you should start trying to lead a "Christian life" by not being complete assholes to everyone you come across. 'Cause I don't remember Jesus saying, "And you shall be a complete dickwad to anyone you choose, as long as you thank me by name every time every time you go through a green light."
