Do we think the Hu-Fu segment on TDS was for real? Cause I am not buying it.
There you go, overestimating humanity again.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Yes. Humanity tastes no better than Hu-Fu.
Yes. Humanity tastes no better than Hu-Fu.
Pfft. Chicago's Long Pig BBQ is totally wasted on you.
Hu-fu tastes JUST like humanity! That's it's main selling point! I mean, right?
Has anyone mentioned here that I (and all New Yorkers) had the opportunity to vote for Bernie Goetz today? I opted not to, myself.
I'm having an issue. I'm thinking it's either an ethical issue or I'm overthinking things and being an idiot.
I put the screenwriter expo together with Tim awhile back, and so he's teaching a class on Friday night. Tim's assistant took care of the contract. The expo sent Tim and his assistant badges so they could get in to the event and do the teaching thing. They didn't send one to me.
I was going to go there with Tim and his assistant, and Tim says not to worry, he'll get me in (I can't afford the $75 fee for the conference, and I'm only interested in watching Tim teach).
But I feel like I'm going to cause a problem at the door, and that will be a pain in the ass. OTOH, I really want to go and was excited about the class.
Is the right thing to do to let it go and be quietly disappointed, or am I making a big deal out of nothing? I'd feel terrible if Tim had to have an argument with the staff at the conference right before he has to teach.
I don't know about that particular event, but I was just working the door last night, and a woman came up to me, told me she was with one of the speakers, and I let her right in. I doubt it will be a problem. (Actually, that woman told me she WAS the speaker, which I knew was not true, as he is an elderly man, but that's another story.)
Or, can the assistant call and ask for one more badge?
Tim says not to worry, he'll get me in
Listen to the man. I don't think it will be any big deal.
Do you think Tim is mistaken?
You're making a big deal out of nothing, Allyson. Go, enjoy.
If anyone's around who can remember how to do, basically, simple algebra, let me know. I appear to be having a brain freeze and can't figure out how they're doing one step in an example. Unfortunately, it will probably involve having to read slightly messy math, because fractions are involved, and they tend to be hard to type.
