A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

remembering our trip to Sephora, that was some fun

That was the red I wore as Tinkerbell. I've never actually worn it otherwise. It feels...I don't know. Maybe I'm not that woman.

ita, have you looked at any of the VivaGlam colors by MAC? They have a holiday edition compact of all of them, and they look like the sorts of colors you're seeking.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I want that compact, and if I am working by then, you bet your boots I am so freaking getting it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want Jilli's make up brain.

I also want kids who nap, but I'll settle for ones who watch tv.

That's right. I am the bad tv-is-my-babysitter mom!

Right now, any sort of frivolous distraction in the form of clothes or makeup is very, very welcome to me. If tomorrow is (again) slack at work, I may finally write up my huge LJ post reviewing the various skin & eye creams I've tried.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I finally got that Smashbox box myself, after months of fruitless searching.

Do you like it, bon? I'm in love with the brow stuff. I'm at risk of Joan Crawfording.

Thanks for the rec, Jilli. I don't know if I should bother trying, though. Maybe I should stick to browns and burgundies.

Somehow I doubt that. But it's a funny image.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I got this recently when I went hunting for red: [link]

I quite like it, and it stays on like mad with red liner underneath it.

ETA: okay, try this. It's dubonnet, about halfway down.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Jilli, if you're needing distraction and you have skin care advice handy, could you offer any on adult acne outbreaks? My face has been going mad for the last three weeks for no apparent reason (no more stress than usual, no change in diet or facial cleanser). It seems to be settling down a bit over the last couple of days, but if I could be prepared to fight back next time at the first sign of the craxy, I'd be so grateful.
