I am back from a week in Mom-land, where every single meal was shared with a different person I am related to (Mom, Uncle, Cousin, Other Cousin, Brother, Other Brother and kids, Much Older Second Cousin, etc.). I have done all my relative-ly duties for the entire year in one exhausting tour. Go me! I had to get up at 4 to make the plane and also got my period at the same time, so you can imagine how happy, chipper and alert I am right now! Woo hoo.

I had dinner with ym mom's Best Friend of 40 years and her son, my BF from 6th grade, whom I haven't seen since high school. Pretty freaky, that. He has grown up to be a lovely man who has been married to his college sweetheart for 25 years.
Oh, I also brought the entire series of The Office and made my mom watch most of the episodes and the Special. She loved it, as I knew she would. Tim+Dawn 4EVAH!!!
