Now I want to do that all the time.
Pros of Groupwise:
- transparent recall
- delayed send (you can make it look like you were in the office until 7)
- detailed status (you can see not only if what you've sent has been read, but if it's been deleted)
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Pros of Groupwise:
I intend to vote, but I can't figure out who's running, or why I should vote for or against any of them! It's city council and school board, which means they're probably various flavors of liberal democrat environmentalists, but how can I know what flavors?
For some reason I'm convinced that's my favourite fairy tale, although it feels modern for a fairy tale. I have no substantiation for that.
Well, Andersen wrote it in the nineteenth century, so compared to a lot of fairy tales it isn't all that old.
Part of my job involves sending out mass emails to, like 10,000 people all working here. The first one I did, I had my boss proof and she missed something, so she had me recall it. I corrected it and sent it again, and then HER boss asked us to recoll it and change something. Then I sent it again.
I feel like every one of those 10,000 people hates me personally now, since what we are sending is basically spam (we want them to take our classes).

But is it set more recently than the average fairy tale? Is there a cutoff for the setting of the genre?
But all that stuff only works if your recipient has the same software, no? Well, except the delayed send.
I think someone tried to recall something they sent me once. I got this very cryptic followup email that was part garbled code, part automated message about deleting earlier email. I read the offending email anyway. It was lame.
TAR: I watched it last night and I am very sad to see the Gaghans go and about Nora Deirdre's question: I think that the challenges are much less challenging this season. I'm hoping that now that the youngest of the children are gone -- that the challenges will be more difficult.
Well, if it is possible to change them on the fly. (I imagine that it would be possible for some of them.)
I was planning to go vote, by foot, after work, with Casper in the stroller. But then I found out that two people have been killed in the last week on the block I'd have to walk down. Note that this block is ONE block from my house, so walking down it is not putting me in muich potential jeopardy that I'm not in by just living in my house. So I'm being illogical, and will probably go vote.
The two deaths were 1) hit and run in the alley behind the block. (We have the same alley behind my house. Guess who wishes we had a fence to prevent Casper-in-the-alley now?) 2) shooting death in an apartment, presumably due to something that does not endanger people walking down the street at 4pm.
Cooking for Engineers has a pumpkin pie recipe with photographs here.
Linkeat Emptor. I have not made this recipe myself - the only pumpkin pie I have ever baked was a long time ago when I lived in the UK and had only the vaguest idea what the final product was supposed to be like. You may insert your own humorous conclusion to this story and you will probably be correct.
Canned pumpkin = pumpkin in a can (although the pumpkin is often cut with butternut squash, since today's pumpkins are bred for good looks more than good taste).
Canned pumpkin pie filling = pumpkin pie filling in a can. May legally contain up to 5% pure(*) evil.
Oddly, The Snow Queen is one of my least favorites. But I think that is bacause thrall is one of those things that indicates strength of mind.
