And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

$50,000 discount to any woman who is blonde, blue-eyed, or related to "any of the German soldiers of the mid-century."

There's a NAZI DISCOUNT now???

Just when you think the whole business can't get any more offensive...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's raining in Belmont, and needs to stop.

Also, Warren Beatty left a message on my answering machine.

It's funny how so many of us have serious loyalty to certain makes and models. I've driven 3 different Nissan Sentras, and while I totally know they are wussy econocars, I love them in all their weird appearance. I know their problems (ball joints at 1.5K, watch the alternator closely) and their reliability. The only other car I've driven regularly is the Stanza (ball joints, power steering pump, and dude, check out the clutch cable every so often!)

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

his pearly homunculi

I just need to point out the sheer sordid brilliance of this phrase, despite being otherwise repulsed beyond my ability to vocalize by the whole Vincent Gallo thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Rumour that the Harry Potter kid is dating a 23 year old.

Ann, that's a ferret.

In one of the most bizarre attempts ever by a lesser movie celebrity to capitalize on his fame,

Capitalize on it and destroy it, all at the same time.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm somewhat grateful, somewhat horrified by the things I can count on.

I can count on immediately feeling cozy and cheered the second I walk into my colorful apartment after work.

I can count on my dad to bail me out of my financial irresponsibility and not make me feel bad about asking for help.

And I can always count on ita to post the squickiest of links.

'Tis true, 'tis true.

HA! ita is always one to bring in the squick.

I just had to rewatch GA.

Hey, you want a tortie? (I know, I know. I'd do better to sucker ask lori.)

This weekend, Lori helped me make 4 more recycled-book journals. One is either for erinaceous or msbelle. But the others are fantastic!

My favorite is one that is alled Beaver Skins and Mountain Men. I put in beautiful Indian endpapers that a friend brought back from Bombey and saved some of the pictures.

It's so happy making.
