Sen. Barack Obama's debut on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" has been foiled. The culprit: official Senate business. Obama was to appear on the program in New York on Monday. But spokesman Robert Gibbs said Sunday that Obama had to cancel so he could be in Washington to vote on a defense spending bill.
I was so looking forward to that....

Also, herding dog stories are all cute. Ours, while definitely a mutt, is probably mostly Aussie shepherd too, so he looks longingly at other peoples' sheep. He tries to herd the free-range cattle when they come through our yard, but they just look at him. We need to find more for him to do.
Also, I have coffee. Coffee is good. This whole being up and at-em in the mornings is odd and off-putting. But I'm getting so much done. I suppose this is how normal people do it, huh?
