Bloody noses and attack of the static. Must be fall.

I forgot it was halloween until I left this morning and there was a very large man dressed very accurately (nothing halfassed about it) as a clown in the parking lot. Took a minute for me to come up with why someone might be doing that at 8:30 am.

From the few times I saw snippets of Roswell, they sure made Roswell look much, much more interesting than it actually is. Not to slur your hometown or anything, Raq, just.... An indie movie did the same thing with Las Cruces some time back. There was much hooting in the theater .

Happy birthday, Daniel!

Happy Anniversary, Jilli and Pete!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

I couldn't be arsed to put together a costume this year, so I'm just dressed in all black. I had intended to wear black lipstick, too, but I must have finally thrown out my old tube, because I couldn't find it this morning. Ah well. Haven't decided yet what I'll do tonight to celebrate.

My office is surprised that I am not dressed up. I am however wearing my candy corn sweatrer and carrying a plastic jack-o-lantern as a purse.

Today when I woke up, 43 degrees. Today's expected high, 70 degrees. WRONG WRONG WRONG. so not easy to dress for. stupid weather.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Daniel!

Happy Anniversary to VoiceofReasons!

Today I scraped frost off my car. But it's supposed to get up to 77F by the afternoon. How the heck am I supposed to dress for that? Well, yeah, layers, but that doesn't help when it comes to footwear.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No more Berlitz:

The Taiwan native then mouthed -- without speaking aloud -- the following phrase in Mandarin Chinese: "Let me introduce our new prototype."

The sensors captured electrical signals from Jou's facial muscles when they moved to form the silent Chinese words. In a matter of seconds, this information traveled to a computer that recognized the words and translated them into English and Spanish. The phrase was then displayed on a screen and spoken by the computer in both languages.

Up is we are playing hooky and running off to the mountains for the day. I feel a little, deliciously guilty. Whee!

Felicitations of the season to everybody, and may your Mondays be less Mondayish than usual!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
