Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wanna make money? (Really slowly?)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Wanna make money? (Really slowly?)

That's either really neat or...interesting.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fortunately my boss is the type who doesn't take offense even when I can't maintain a straight expression while she's explaining this stuff to me. Which I couldn't. Which sent her back to her desk to send me the "scientific" evidence.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ita, are you eating?

Denial won! OMG, did denial ever win! That was the funniest denial ever! This elephant will live, have a herd of cute little elephant babies, die, rot and stink, and apparently never ever be noticed in the room.

I'm so glad my low-blood-sugar concussed self didn't upset the boat and my panic was for precisely naught.

Right. Off home.

eta:

ita, are you eating?

Not yet, will soon.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for denial winning! (I assume we mean family denial, right?)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Urgh...G's not home from work yet. This is becoming a far too regular thing. Seems like just when he thinks the work crisis is over, something else comes up.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Permanent work crises suck... and are a sure sign of bad management.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Not until I'm fairly sure it's not coming right back up, dude.

I keep a can or two of pineapple around for situations like this. Quick blood sugar boost, and if it doesn't stay down, well, it tastes the same when it comes back up.

Um, yay denial. And while we're at it, yay for Daisy having the flu. Any other bizarro yays we should be pulling out?
