I'm drinking watered down Gatorade. It's very sloooooooooooooow. I want a banana bag instead.
A lunch salad? Around 9 bucks
Then, with speaking person (are they funny? they better be funny!) that sounds fair. Also, the lemon bars should be very tangy.
I think you're lucky to get luncheon catering for less than $25. Anyway, the few events I've organized, we ended up paying that or more, and with a minimum headcount or else the price per person went up.
Sounds like a fine meal.
Allyson, I do a lot of events, and that's sounds reasonable for a nice lunch. I assume that people are paying for tickets? I would pay $25.
When I had the non-flu, there were several days when I wasn't sure if I felt so bad because I was sick, or because I couldn't deal with eating. Vicious cycle, man.
Me too, msbelle.
ita, how long before you can go home, take the meds, and eat?
I have a conference call from 2-3, and then I think I'll have taxed myself. I was hoping for honest to goodness hunger, but I'd have settled for some clearing of the nausea first.
Pizza. Pizzapizzapizza.
I have trouble sometimes with hunger causing me to lose my appetite
I back myself into this corner with alarming frequency. Weekends always get me, and then I wonder why I'm driving to the store, bawling my eyes out over some imagined trauma. I've gotten a little better, but I think I went so long in college ignoring the feed-me signals (I'd get absorbed in something and just....forget. And what with meal plans and all. ... People appointed themselves my keeper) that I broke some of the wiring.
I've figured out oatmeal I can usually manage. There used to be a vegetarian instant soup that worked well. I can get that down, wait an hour or so, and then eat like a normal human being.
t /all about my stupidity
now the migraine is back
Is it still here? Want to hand it back over to me? I should be heading home soon, after all.
mini-meara:
Apparently the effectiveness of flu shots declines dramatically with age. They're more than 80% effective in children, dropping down as far as the twenties for people in their 70s. Kind of interesting really.
Some suggest that the best thing for all would be to vaccinate all children, then hope for herd immunity for the rest.
How do people feel about cranberry relish? I always make it by grinding cranberries coarsely with oranges, peels and all and just enough sugar to take the edge off.
We do this, but add concentrated orange juice instead of sugar. And we grind up some apples in with the cranberries and orange. And if possible, we use lingonberries (low-bush cranberries for Alaskans) that we've picked instead of commercial cranberries, because they're sooooo much better.
When I got to the bottom I realized why. Black licorice! WTF?
This is just wrong in so very many ways.
The BBC will tell you how smart you are
My best score was in math, my worst possible subject. Go figure.
ION: There are too many migraines around. They must go away. And much punctuation all around.
