Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Does he play with Captain Crunch?

I'm betting he's a better left fielder than the Reds had last year.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Not flea, but citationmachine.net is pretty good.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I'm betting he's a better left fielder than the Reds had last year.

You DO know that Reds fans also think the team sucks, and therefore don't get zinged by insults?

Now, maybe if we had a left fielder like ol' Frankenberry, or whoever....

Hey. New board.

Whoa, I just remembered that I can write the paper due tomorrow on the same subject as the presentation that is also due tomorrow. Still annoying, but much LESS annoying.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Hey, a few years ago Milton Bradley was traded FOR CoCo Crisp - so they intersected. The sportscasters had fun with that one.

Hec, I had not heard that news, so thanks for the head's up.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congrats to MG's DH on the new job!

I have nothing to contribute on the math or baby discussions, sorry.

ETA: Nor on baseball. I'm multi-ignorant, ya'll.

Mostly lurking...

I'm all nervous for my dad. He's on the Committee that is helping decide the fate of his small "town." Tonight there is a big election, and he could get bumped off the committee. The election ends in 8 minutes. Then they count the ballots.

Send election~ma, please.

Yes, all election and ballot counting goodness for your Dad, vw.

Committee!!!

Eek. I am blowing off a committee meeting at church, as I type. I kind of intended to blow it off, but I was going to call the chairwoman and tell her. Ugh. I suck. I like to at least blow things off on purpose. Tonight, I went from considering to already being in the midst of, without savoring the reckless feeling. Now, I just guilt the guilt. Bah.
