~ma for the mommies and the babies of same. Comfort vibes for Gud. Yay for the job-having. Wishing I had a magic wand to make everything better for everyone.
What Deena said. 'Cause she has a tendency to say it so well.
{{{libkitty}}} Sounds hard. (Um, at least Yay Present!

On the other hand, loved the math discussion. It was one of the few here that I could actually understand, and I found the chart tremendously helpful in determining actual numbers.
I loved that I could (just) grasp both the number-y explanations and the egg-crates. Yet another demo of my almost-perfectly-divided-between-left-and-right-brain at work.
Deena, how is the smoking cessation plan going? Or have we not started yet?
I'm sure those cherry kisses don't taste so hot, and I'm also sure I'm not going to care the first time I stumble across some at work.
ION, if it weren't for the bottle battle, I, err, think I'd have gone in today.
If the attack plan works, I may go in Thursday instead of staying home as originally planned. Work! Office! Humans!
The pumping part's a downside, but man, I didn't realize how stir crazy I was going until I got out.
Uggh. I don't WANT to finish making my presentation. Or start my take-home final. Or work on my paper. BAH.
This week? No good!
I just got an early Christmas present from my friend in prison, and it's perfect and I'm going back and forth between this huge grin on my face because it's perfect, and sobbing because I can't see him, or even call him to tell him it was perfect. Neither reaction is really appropriate for work.
Mandatory minimums suck. Plus, I still get mad at him because he was just so damned stupid.
That is a
lot
of emotion all at once.

Libkitty, he will be thrilled to hear how perfect it was the in perfect thank you note you will write. {{}}

As for the math discussion... I can add...ummm... my mathematician sister is coming for New Year's, yea!?
Thanks guys. And you're right, Sparky, he'll be happy with the letter. Actually, I've gotten a whole bunch of his friends to sign a card, so I think he'll get a kick out of that, which is important given the books-only limitation on Christmas presents.

Is she coming on a train? When does the train leave and how fast will it go? And what about the train going in the opposite direction?
Also, {everybody who likes 'em}
Maybe i'll take a shower and it will wake me up enough to start working again. Or, go get coffee, bring it back, make fresh hot chocolate, and mix.
ETA: Hee! I just got a "Punch out George W. and win an X-box 360" banner ad. With the actual pop-up blocked, the game itself is very satisfying.
