You'd probably get better answers in the Tech thread, because my first instinct is to say Snow Crash, which isn't a very helpful answer. (Because it's not a textbook, it's a cyberpunk novel with binary code as a plot point. But you should read it anyway because it's quite good.)

What do you mean by binary code? Just, converting numbers from base 10 to binary and back, or something else?
