Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Should I mention it at his checkup? Has anyone else seen their kid do this?

I'd mention it so the doctor takes a good look see in there. However, it is very common for babies and toddlers to do things like that because they're still learning how to register all their senses. So they'll do things which make them dizzy, or their vision woobly or creates an interesting sound effect in their ear or bang their head on the door for the acoustic properties. It's basically science in action - testing out various possibilties.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Evidentally, I am six. I just went to Amazon and looked at what had been purchased from my wish list.

I feel bad, but also, Woot. I am getting the Muppet Show DVDs.

I did the same thing tonight, so we can be six together. Nothing was purchased on mine, but I think Teacup Guy is going to purchase things from my wishlist at a store for me. I hope. He seemed relieved when I sent him the link. He is being very cute about all of the holiday stuff. We had a conversation tonight about what presents have to be wrapped and how they have to be wrapped, ect. He seems worried about doing everything right.

I bought this for my nephew tonight for part of his Christmas present. I remember having one when I was little. It's great being the auntie who can buy all the noisy toys and not have to hear them being played with all day every day.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Awake.

Bored.

Grrrr.
