Hi Cass! And everyone!
Cindy, I'm not a nurse just yet. I'll be in May, but for now I'm still a student. I don't want to misrepresent myself.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Hi Cass! And everyone!

The temperatures meds are exposed to play a bigger role than the dates on the label. I once had a reaction to a narcotic cough syrup that still had a month to go before the expiration date, yet it had been kept in a kitchen cupboard in a trailer in Arizona where I did not have real A/C. Temps in summer frequently reached 100 or more in there. So I'd say, if the stuff is stored in a place with reasonable climate-control, it's likely to be just fine. Consider this: pharmacy labels give an expiration date of one year, standard. There is no allowance for however long the med. may have been sitting around waiting for you to bring in your prescription.
I called you a nurse to him, but then corrected myself, but thanks, Jen.
Also, yes, hi to Cass, Stephanie, Andi, and everyone.
Nora, stop making moon-eyes at your husband, and post, darn it.
Remember last week my prof emailed a final 2 days after the last class. After she had already told us no final for 2 weeks?
Well, I've decided that I never got that email and I'm not going to do the final. It really pissed me off that she did that and she has no proof I got the email.
Maybe I'm being a petulant child, but dammit! I don't wanna!
::stomps feet::
FWIW, Cindy, I've taken many a percocet past its expiry date. They work fine, but just not as long.
Jilli! Check out my best man's child, The Witch Baby.
The Witch Baby.
My goodness! How adorable is that?
Sounds reasonable to me, Chikat. What ever happened to professors giving out syllabi at the beginning of class which state explicitely the requirements of the class - papers, presentations, major exams?
We just want the DH to feel better, Cindy. Back pain is just no fun at all.
It really pissed me off that she did that and she has no proof I got the email.I have heard nothing about this alleged email either. Lalalalalalalalalaaaaaa
The Witch Baby.Ded'ed from the spooky cuteness.
This teacher was a replacement and didn't even accept the position until the day of our first class. I think this is the first college-level class she's taught, and while we did have a syllabus, she didn't stick to it.
We had more assignments than the syll. outlined. We never got back any assignments, so I have no idea what my grade is in the class other than I know I did well. The email for this final never said how many points it is worth. I just don't care anymore.
Definitely sounds like the people in charge of stuff like hiring and not-firing and firing instructors need to have a clue about this person's less-than-professional attitude toward teaching. And I don't blame you for being so done with that class.
