Scott's having back spasms again. He had one bad enough at work (from just moving his chair while in it) that he yelled out. I had to pick him up at the train station, and then my dear friend picked me up and took me down to get his car. He couldn't drive. He has a Flexeril in him and some Tylenol. He'd already taken 4 Ibuprofen at noon, and sadly, the Percosets he's had for over a year (and never taken one of them) expired back in August, so he couldn't take one, after I talked him into trying it.
Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Cindy, that is terrible. I would try the expired meds though. They usually build a hell of a safety net into the dates and usually just get less potent so the worst that happens is nothing.

There's no reason he can't take the expired percoset. Worst-case scenario, the drug will have lost its effectiveness, but it won't have any negative effect on him.

What Cass and Teppy and Nora and Stephanie said. Which is what I was about to say. Those expiration dates are based on effectiveness, not some danger of them having "gone bad" the way food goes bad.
The FDA recently released a statement saying that people should feel free to take their drugs for a year past the expiration date without worry. So bottoms up!
