I can handle the Oz Full Monty. I mean, not 'handle' handle.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Alan Turing is hot. Also, however, gay. And dead.
Like any of that can stand in the way of Teh Crush...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I mean, at least he's not imaginary.

move out and draw fire

Alan Turing is hot. Also, however, gay. And dead.

But nonetheless, I too have a crush on him.

Our friend Larry stayed a couple extra days in Germany, so we had a phone message from him last night: "Watchin' curling, havin' a Bud."

I could hear the yells from the ice, so I know he was at the curling competition in Garmisch, but I sincerely doubt that he was having a Bud.

vw, saw your post about your next project, and I have a question: Does depression actually make boobs get smaller?

(In the pic Ginger linked to, my DH is angry like an angry thing. That was definitely the nadir of the trip, but Mallory was still having a great time.)

Hee! Nope. It was a side effect of a medication I was on.

Also, poor Emily.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Huh. And I thought the migraine-like visual aberations from Prozac were bad.

Our wings are not tired.

Woo! So I went out to walk the dog this morning in my boxers and tank top. Surprise! It's only 55 out with a high of only 72 predicted. That's what I'm talkin' about! The cold snap will be over by Wednesday, but every little bit helps. I have all my Christmas decorations outside and I don't want a late tropical storm to mess stuff up. (water temp is about 76 so I think we should be ok now)

Hey Billytea! News reports here show more rough stuff happening in Sydney. It's hard to get any real perspective from here. Is the rioting limited to a small group of disgusting humans?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Damn, Laura. I wish we had your 'cold snap' out this way.

Yeah, I'm with that sexy Anne. I could do for a little warmer weather here too. Although, I like the show. Wish it wasn't all brown and stuff already.

Exceptionally gross women-only problem/question here: Idiot that I am, I left a panty-liner in one of the undies I washed this morning. Now the entire load is full of bits of the gel stuff that is sooooo absorbant. Any clues whether I will have to shake out the bits of gel material, or can I just run the load through again to get the stuff out? My only consolation in cleanliness is that it got bleached. Or should I forget about trying to get this stuff out, and just blow my brains out with the nearest shotgun?

Help!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Actually, all farflungistas should plan trips to Boston between mid-September and mid-October, because I say so.

Why those dates, particularly?

More or less, but I'm still aghast. And attitudes are more widespread, and there are people fuelling fires on both sides. When did this become my country?
